Entries available for Trackrod Rally Yorkshire

  • Late entries now available
  • Marshals still being recruited
  • Event running order confirmed

Late entries are now available for the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire (24/25 September) as the famous Yorkshire forests are prepared for the return of rally cars after an absence of nearly two years.

A number of late cancellations has left space for a few more entries and so the on-line entry system is now being re-opened at www.rallyyorkshire.co.uk Places are available on each of the three sections of the rally: the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire, the Trackrod Forest Stages and the Trackrod Historic Cup.

In addition to a final call for entries, the organisers have also issued a call for marshals. Anyone interested in helping out is asked to contact Richard Webster via  marshals@rallyyorkshire.co.uk

The event running order and seeded entry list for the rally have now been confirmed and the seeded entry list is on the event website: www.rallyyorkshire.co.uk/competitors-information/#entrylist

For the Friday evening stages, there will be two elements to the field: the first group will be all the historics running in reverse seeded order (around 50 cars) and the second group will be contenders in the British Rally Championship in normal seeded order followed by the Land Rovers (around 40 cars).

On Saturday, the first group of cars will be all the historics and two-wheel drive cars running in reverse seeded order (around 110 cars). The second group will be contenders in the British Rally Championship and all other four-wheel drive cars in normal seeded order followed by the Land Rovers (around 60 cars).

The definitive start lists will be published on Friday afternoon (24 September) on Sportity and spectators who have bought tickets will also be able to access this information. Details of spectator access to the event and ticket booking options are on-line at: https://www.rallyyorkshire.co.uk/spectator-information/

The rally will be the fourth round of the Motorsport UK British Rally Championship as well as the second round of the Fuchs British Historic Rally Championship and the fourth round of the BTRDA Rally Series. Trackrod Rally Yorkshire includes stages on the Friday evening for the BRC and historic competitors (in the Trackrod Historic Cup) with a total of 57 miles of stages. The BTRDA contenders will cover 45 miles on Saturday in the Trackrod Forest Stages and all stages will be single use.
